Gentec secured the complete turnkey EPC contract for an upcoming IPP project located in the Isolo industrial zone in Lagos, Nigeria. The IPP station is planned for a 17.15MW installed capacity and scheduled for commissioning in Q4, 2010.

TPUL and Gentec have commenced an expansion program to meet the growing customer demand for clean and reliable power. This expansion will increase the TPUL installed generation capacity from 8.75MW to 14.9 MW.

Gentec is currently executing a new 8.75 MWe captive power plant in Otta, Ogun State - civil works have been completed and complete mechanical & electrical installation is now underway.

The Green Fuels Nigeria Ltd pilot natural gas compression facility has been commissioned, having successfully compressed pipeline gas and loaded several transport units with CNG.

Having already successfully tested and commissioned the pilot compression facility, Green Fuels has now completed the maiden voyage of its transport units, carrying CNG.

Tower Power Utility Ltd first commercial IPP station has officially commenced generation and export of power to customers.
